Michele did a housesit for us in January 2020 for a week. She cared for our staffy, bull mastiff, 2 cats and 2 birds. We found her to be very friendly with a bubbly personality and a love for animals. She was very thorough. Before we left she wrote down all the details of our home and pets. She emailed me a copy of how to run our home and look after our pets for future housesitters. This was amazing. The pets loved her. She treated them like her own. Michele took them on a car ride every day for a walk at our local beach. She handled 2 dogs at once. She is very fit and strong. Our mastiff can be excited and pulls on walks so it was important to us to have someone that can cope with her. She loved that our girls always wanted to be with her and she got to know their personalities. Michele also spent time out front with our outdoor cats like I do each day. I loved that Michele wanted to keep to our routines and learn how we care for our home and pets. It put me at ease. She would send photos and texts through to me at times to keep me in touch with my fur babies. She was tidy and security conscious. We returned home to happy pets that were well loved and fed. Our home was tidy too. We had a car for her to use while we were away and that was returned to us without a scratch. 2 of our older children returned a night early due to a flooded tent. However Michele was flexible with them joining her for the last night and happily welcomed them home. I do not hesitate in recommending Michele as a housesitter. Especially if you like detail and things done properly. She will care enough to know your emergency contacts, vet, insurance provider etc just in case.
