We went on a 3 week trip to Africa and were anxious about leaving our dogs as one of them got hurt a few days prior to our departure. John gave Thaddeus his daily medication, changed his t-shirt to keep him from licking his stiches, and took him to the vet for check ups. When we returned, both dogs were healthy and in good spirits. The house was in good shape as well. John was wonderful in taking photos and sharing daily dog updates via WhatsApp. While we were initially skeptical because of John's age, this was clearly a situation where one should not judge a book by its cover. We couldn't recommend John more highly.
