Julie has been a member of our Arroyo High School staff for twenty-eight years. Julie is a dependable and organized person who is willing to be a team player and helps when asked. She is reliable and on time. Julie has been a member of the English department for all her years here and has taught all ages from freshmen to seniors. She has been the chair of her department for the past eleven years. She presently chairs over fifteen colleagues and helps with their needs and concerns. Her duties include holding department meetings, controlling inventory of supplies for the classrooms, setting the schedules for the classes of all teachers in her department, helping mentor new teachers, attending department chair meetings, acting as a content specialist for the district program, helping develop curriculum, assessments, and projects in all levels of her department. When taking on projects, she is very committed to making sure the task has been completed in a timely manner. She always turns in quality work. In the past, she had been an advisor for several organizations including class council and Key Club. She is an important part of our staff and has been involved in many facets of success for our school.
