For 5 years, Devin house sat our vacation home for 11 months of the year. He was trustworthy, conscientious, respectful, and clean. Because he was head of maintenance at a nearby ski lodge (originally built in the 1940s), he had lots of experience with maintenance and repair of many different home systems (heating, plumbing, physical structure, etc.). He took care of minor repairs and maintenance himself (replacing our water heater, repairing, cleaning, and staining our outside deck, etc). On major repairs, he coordinated with contractors as needed. With his calm and caring demeanor, he got along well with our rescue cat Louise. He was an ideal house sitter; I do not hesitate to recommend him whole heartedly and without any reservations. In sum, a great guy. My wife and I were sorry when he moved on.
