House-sitting Review for Andy and Jean: From the moment we met Andy and Jean we knew the old 1893 homestead on our farm ‘Southbourne‘ (near the town of Beverley in Western Australia) was in good hands. The garden was in need of attention and they tended it with gusto, pruning and keeping it weed free. The house interior was looking tired so they put their decorating skills to work painting ceilings, walls and woodwork in a few rooms, and kept the entire house ever spotless for the entire twelve months they were there. Being keen walkers, they traversed much of the property keeping an eye out for animals in distress which was comforting. They also cared for our sheep-dog by giving her daily medication and taking her for walks when she hadn’t been doing paddock work. Andy and Jean are a wonderful couple who are ever reliable and we highly recommend them for short stay house-sitting or long term as was our experience March 2020 – March 2021.
