Lana and Jim are my most trusted house/pet sitters. I call them every time I travel, in fact I make my travel plans around their availability now! I have a very high maintenance, high energy, reactive dog and it was challenging for me to find a reliable sitter that has experience with a high maintenance pet. They know my dog requires a lot of activity and make sure he gets his exercise daily. They are very responsive and provide regular updates (my request). My dog also has dietary restrictions and Lana and Jim are great about managing that. My dog’s meal times are not straightforward and he can only have certain types of treats and they are great about managing that and making sure he’s not consuming anything he shouldn’t be from the sidewalk during walks. They have been really helpful when he was sick and I had to travel and were great about giving him his medicine! My dog is so happy to see them that he doesn’t feel any disruption when I leave and usually he is anxious when I do. I appreciate both of them so much for treating my dog like their own, it allows me to travel stress free knowing I can trust them. Beyond help with my dog, they leave my home in great condition. Everything is put away and very tidy. It’s hard to tell that anyone was there! Its usually cleaner than how I left it! Bonus points that they know to wipe down my dog when it’s rainy/snowy so he doesn’t track mud or wetness through the house.
