Mandy looked after Merritt’s pets & home

We were very lucky to find Mandy while searching for a new petsitter last year. We live on a small farm in central VT, so petsitter is really just a part of what she handles for us when we go out of town. We have cats, dogs and hens who have all been well cared for by Mandy. We've gone away in January- Mandy had to make sure the hens' water didn't freeze and kept the house warm with a wood stove. In May we had a late freeze and Mandy covered all of our vegetable plants for us (no small feat). In the summer months she watered the greenhouse and the vegetable gardens. Our animals love Mandy. She plays with the cats and hangs with the dogs on the couch at night. She communicates with us just enough while we're gone, checking in to let us know everything and everyone is fine, and asking questions if she has them (but that hasn't happened too often). Mandy has always been very respectful of our home. When we get back it's even cleaner than it was than when we left. We don't worry about a single thing when Mandy's in charge. I honestly can't recommend her highly enough!
