Philip has stayed at my place and watched both of my cats (2-yr old siblings) multiple times in the past, and I cannot recommend him more for a trusted house sitter. To start he is a great house guest. He is tidy, self-aware, respectful of the space, and even left the area cleaner than before his stay. He loves animals and takes plenty of time to show them love, affection, and attention. I was at ease knowing he was caring for them like they were his own. To note, Philip actually saved my cat Milo's life! His awareness allowed him to notice a change in behavior including lethargy, change in personality, decreased energy, and hiding. Turns out he had a severe urinary obstruction, which was a medical emergency, and Milo was a day away from death. Phil not only recognized these signs, and called me to express concern, but was able to rush him to an emergency vet and keep me very informed over the next few days until I returned. He was sensitive to the severity of the situation and kept in touch very frequently remaining available for whatever I needed during this time. Having him there really eased my worry and concern. It is hard to express how grateful I am that Philip was present, took action, and went over and above each time to care for my cats while I was away. Because of him, my sweet 1.5 year old cat has many more years to enjoy life with me and his sister. I would absolutely use Philip again to sit for me the next time I travel. He is reliable, responsive, responsible and a perfect house guest. He will treat your pets like his own, to me, there is no one better. Based on my experience I highly recommend using Philip to care for your animals and home in your absence. Trust me, you will be very happy with your decision!
