With great pleasure, I write to recommend my dear friend and long-time academic colleague, Dawn Dvoracek. She and I share deeply held values and a true understanding of commitment to responsibility in working with others in all types of settings, professional and community-related. She is planning retirement options and is looking forward to moving closer to her children and grandchildren on the East coast of the United States. I was delighted to learn that she, in making these plans, is considering employment with Trusted Housesitters in order to assist people as they travel, keep their pets comfortable, and their home and property safe. She would go way beyond normal expectations to make things just right, and she would probably have a delicious meal prepared for the people waiting upon their return. I know I would trust my cat and my home to Dawn in a heartbeat if she were available to sit for me while I was away. As you look for employees, I feel sure you seek people with a variety of skills. Dawn has so many talents that I hesitate to start listing them knowing that I may leave out some important ones. At the top of the list, cooking and baking belong. Next, she is an expert gardener who could easily care for plants if clients request that service. In addition, she has a true love of pets and knows how to care for them. Further, I believe a wonderful mother and grandmother go in her list of talents because she is such a good listener for all concerned. She deserves happiness in this coming chapter of life through traveling and more leisurely time to explore new parts of the country, visiting familiar places that she loves, and spending time with her family.
