Pat cared for our six animals for one week while we were out of town. We have two small dogs and four cats, one of which is quite old. The animals absolutely love her. The dogs first met her by chance at her work. Later, we asked her if she would watch them and the house while we were away. She came for a visit beforehand to meet the cats and get the low down on the house. The dogs were so excited to see her, and even the cats came around. When we returned our animals were calm and normal, obviously cared for and well fed. When I was a kid and we would return from vacation the cats were hostile to us for days--they did not like us to leave them with a stranger. Clearly our animals did not suffer from our absence! Pat was thoughtful about taking care of our house as well. The house was in the same condition as when we left. She volunteered to take care of the house plants and asked all the right questions about the house, asking for a list of emergency numbers and people and any other important information. She left us a kind note about the animals, and was nice enough to strip the bed and put the linens in the laundry room. We were so happy and lucky to have her take care of our animal family and our home in our absence! We trust her completely.
