Virginia & Chris looked after Apryl Prentiss’s pets & home

I have known Ginny for over 10 years. I was her boss first and then a friend. She's very responsible, very caring, and very intelligent. She's got a great work ethic and, most relevant, she LOVES animals. She both pet and house sat for us many times. I had 3 dogs at the time and one was highly fear reactive and high maintenance because of prior abuse before we rescued her. Ginny was AMAZING with Bonni, an Akita mix. She was patient, consistent, and very caring. Bonni was always relaxed and happy when I got home, which indicated that she had received good care. Ginny did all of that while also wrangling our two other dogs, a Daschund and a Great Pyr mix (who was also a very active puppy at the time). Ginny was reliable and she was great about playing with the dogs, showing affection, and also tidying up the house before we came home. She's incredibly knowledgeable about dogs and has owned many rescues, including pit bulls. I met her dogs and they were well-trained and happy. I give her my highest recommendation as a former customer and boss. If you are looking for someone who genuinely loves and seeks to understand the animals she is working with, she's the right choice. She'll take excellent care of them and your house!
