Rita looked after Kay’s pets

I am very happy to recommend Rita to look after your house and care for any pets you may have. I met Rita and her late husband when they took on and rescued a horse aged 32 that had been agisted at my property. Through no fault of his own he had been moved to another property and placed with 2 stallions. He received multiple injuries and lost 80kgs in the short time he was there. The horse also had severe stress related diarrhoea and was very dehydrated. Rita sent me horrifying photos of his state and asked if I could let her know the recipe of his previous diet (one that I had formulated especially for him as he had Cushings Disease, (Pituitary pars intermedia dysfunction), so that she could rebuild his lost muscle and condition. Rita gave him the diet and followed all doses and instructions to the letter and nursed him back to amazing health and happiness with twice daily treatments for months. It was such a great joy for me to see the horse in such beautiful condition and I greatly appreciated all the hard work and perseverance that it took to bring him back to good health, considering everything was against him including his age. He continued to be happy and healthy with Rita until he recently passed away aged 38! The respect I have for this lady is in abundance! Rita, over the years, has frequently stepped in to keep an eye on my horses and visit and give them treats - they love her to bits! Rita has a true affinity with animals. When I met her she had some beautiful dogs, all aging but in beautiful condition and living a very happy life. Her home was full of love and happiness and had order and was very welcoming and made my husband and I feel at home straight away. She is reliable, efficient and energetic. She handles pressure with cool competence and has a pleasant manner that smooths over difficult situations. Rita is hardworking and determined to succeed in anything she attempts. I can’t recommend her highly enough. Anyone would be so lucky to have Rita take care of their precious animals and their homes while they are away. I’m happy to discuss if you need any more details.
