Lauren looked after Craig’s pets & home

This is a letter of recommendation for Lauren; Lauren volunteered at our ranch for the month a few years ago. At that time, we had an all inclusive bison/wildlife vacation guest ranch. We have had over 80 volunteers since 2013, and we have an extensive application and screening process. All our volunteers have been good, but Lauren was outstanding. The month Lauren was here was our busiest ever with guests actually departing and arriving on the same day. Lauren was an extremely valuable team member and she supervised 3 other volunteers. She saw to it that cabins were cleaned, beds were made, tables were set, food was served, and dishes were gathered and washed. Lauren lived in our house that month and she had her own kitchen/bedroom/bathroom. She was a very clean and neat person, and kept her living space spotless. I still remember that when we took a group of guests to Yellowstone National Park, Lauren completely went through our food pantry and cleaned and organized it during our absence. She even placed all food items that were past their expiration date in a separate box and labeled it as such. We also had 2 cats and a dog, and she interacted well with our pets. Probably more importantly was that the pets liked Lauren. It was a great relief knowing that our pets were well cared for while we were away with guests at Yellowstone National Park. The following year, Lauren was an interpretive ranger at a National Park in Alaska. We spent 10 days with Lauren at the Park in July watching bears, and watching her work with tourist. She was very impressive working with the tourists. We have kept track of Lauren over the years and have invited her back to our ranch this summer while we spend a month in Australia. We found her to be outstanding in all her work, and I am certain that you will find the same thing too.
