I've known Clista and her husband David for years, from when they moved in next door to me; they instantly endeared themselves with their friendly, open manner, their easygoing intelligence, their senses of humor, and their ever-ready kindness and generosity. When I first met their dog, it was so obvious how much they loved him (and vice versa!), and I came to realize that they were true "animal people," by the tender, cheerful, yet always sensible care they gave him, especially as he got older. (This awarded them even more brownie points from my perspective.) I can't think of anyone I'd rather have looking after my home, or my beloved pets, or anything at all belonging to me. They are reliable, responsible, smart, caring and careful, and I trust them wholeheartedly, without reservations.
