Ariel & Iris looked after Michal Engelberg’s pets & home

I wholeheartedly recommend Iris and her beautiful family as housesitters. They’ve been traveling through Thailand, Laos, and India since October with their two daughters, bringing kindness, curiosity, and responsibility wherever they go. Back home, they have three beloved cats (and had a dog for many years), and animals have always been part of their lives—especially for Iris, who grew up surrounded by pets, and her husband, who was raised on a farm. Their love for animals is genuine and deeply rooted. Iris and her family are some of the most trustworthy people I know: warm, thoughtful, and deeply respectful. They’re also incredibly organized (even mid-backpacking!) and take every commitment seriously. You can be sure your pets will be cared for with love and your home treated with the utmost care. They’re the kind of people you feel lucky to have crossed paths with. I’d trust them with my home and animals any day.
