Joan has been a good friend since I moved into her neighbourhood eight years ago. She has come into the house to look after our house rabbit frequently over the years when we have been away, offering to do this on her own initiative. The rabbit has been well looked after, as Joan would stay around for some time while he amused himself in house and garden before she put him safely in his cage for the night. Joan keeps everything tidy and is a very trustworthy as well as practical person.

Why I want to house sit
Luckily for me I have a reasonable pension, but not enough for a luxury life-style. So I've plenty of free time but not a lot of spare cash. I love travelling and visiting new places. House-sitting gives me a chance to do more travelling…
