My mind was at ease. Rick and Danella and their boys housesat/petsat in my home while I was away on vacation for 2 weeks. I was fortunate in that they were already in the area and I was able to meet them and have coffee together before I committed, and that initial meeting completely put my mind at ease. They are a wonderful family and it was obvious that they are capable and responsible home owners. Meeting the boys also alleviated any apprehension about having kids stay in my beautiful home; they are delightful respectful boys. Within minutes of coming to the house they were on the floor with my old dog loving her up, and I knew instantly this was a great fit. My dog was well cared for. They took great care of the place, going above and beyond. I even noticed a few things were fixed while I was away. Very cool! They were flexible about when to come and when to leave. I wish they were around to have them housesit every time I went away. Great family! Hope to see them again if they come back to BC.
