Our experience

We are completely at ease with all aspects of exercising, playing with, feeding and cleaning up after pets. We also appreciate the opportunities that having a pet allows. As well as the house sits we have completed through

My partner and I are also housesitters but, for several years prior, were spending extended periods in Canada caring for my elderly mum. Chloe, Phil and girls regularly cared for our precious Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Zeus, both at our place and in their own home. Zeus was a rescue dog and never quite learnt how to socialise happily with other animals. His behaviour was often challenging and he had to be monitored closely when in public places. Despite this, Zeus always enjoyed long walks, didn’t miss his daily swim, was safe and incredibly happy. As a family pet, he was the best companion, fun, gentle and loving. Summer pet and housesitting always involved the children sitting for hours shelling peas and feeding them one at a time to Zeus, often while he rested his head on Zea’s shoulder. When the time came for Zeus’s palliative care and our own care responsibilities in Canada meant we had to leave him, we couldn’t have left Zeus with anyone other than these four who cared for him patiently and gently in their own home. I would recommend this family to anyone seeking honest, clean, tidy, caring and responsible people who will give you total peace of mind.
