Jennifer & Tom looked after Joanna’s pets & home

I have known Jennifer for nearly three years and know her to be a very friendly and reliable person. I met her through my partner, who has been close friends with her for around 15 years. When I first met Jennifer, we initially bonded over our shared experiences of having bengal cats (who have unique and sometimes challenging personalities!), and since getting to know her, have found her to be warm, very supportive of her friends, easy to communicate with and highly organised- whether that be in her work or personal life. Jennifer and her partner, Tom, have both house sat for me, which included looking after my bengal cat, Nova. She is a very high energy cat, so requires a lot of play and attention. When Jen and Tom house-sat, they sent regular updates about Nova (which, for an animal owner, is very important!), and when I returned home, the house had been kept spotless. Nova was also very happy, had bonded well with Tom and Jen. Given Nova’s strong personality, I would have known if she hadn’t received enough attention as she would have played up when I returned. But she was totally calm - which I appreciated massively. Both Jen and Tom are keen animal lovers with vast experience between them of both cats and dogs, and it really showed in their care for Nova, despite her being a slightly difficult cat! I would definitely have them house sit again, and think any homeowner and pet-owner requiring sitters would be lucky to have them!
