It is my pleasure to recommend Kathleen, without any reservation whatsoever, as the ultimate house and dog sitter. Now that I have found her, I will never let her go, and hope she is always available whenever I need someone to stay with my beloved pups, Cleo and Scout. Cleo is a large German Shepherd and Scout is a scrappy rescue terrier with a thirst for small animals. He is an escape artist, and if allowed to get out, will disappear for hours, leaving his family wringing their hands, wondering if he will return. Therefore, it is always with significant anxiety that I leave the little guy. Kathleen first stayed with my dogs this past September (16-24) and now I find myself planning my vacations based on her availability. Not only did she keep the dogs safe, she left the house in better shape than on her arrival. Scout got to sleep with her, and fell fast in love, and Cleo was very content as well. They both looked great when we returned. While away, Kathleen kept us updated via WhatsApp as to how well the dogs were doing. I was so impressed that in advance of her stay, Kathleen took the time to drive over an hour to our town to meet me and the dogs, and to familiarize herself with our home. She asked all the right questions, and provided a detailed questionnaire regarding the dogs and the home, so that she would be able to manage anything that might come up. Upon our return, she provided an informative rundown of the events of her stay. Suffice it to say that Kathleen is the BEST, and we have already booked her again for a wedding weekend in October, and a visit to our grandson December 7-15. Humans and canines alike are excited to see her again. It is such a gift to find someone who you know will love your pets and your home as much as you do.
