Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully.
1. OVERVIEW OF HOW THE COMMUNITY FORUM LAUNCH GIVEAWAY WORKS
1. (Promotion Period) This promotion opens on 7th April 2021 and closes at 23.59 UTC on 17th April 2021.
1.2. This promotion is only open to those who are aged over 21. To be completely fair, this promotion is not open to anyone professionally connected to us and any member of their respective immediate families and they will not be able to enter.
1.3. These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of this competition in the English Courts. You must not enter this giveaway if it does not comply with the national law of the country you reside in.
1.4. If you would like to know who won, you can send an email to support@trustedhousesitters.com quoting ‘’Community Forum Launch Giveaway’’ in the subject line for 90 days after the close of the Promotion Period.
2. TO ENTER:
2.1. To enter, you must sign-up to TrustedHousesitters Community Forum and post a topic or reply to an existing topic on the forum during the promotion period.
2.2. You may enter once per day during the promotion period.
3. WINNER SELECTION:
3.1. Multiple winners will be selected per day. The winning persons will be selected at random.
4. CONTACTING THE WINNERS:
4.1. We will contact the winners within 7 working days after the competition closes on the 17th April 2021. If you are a lucky winner, you must respond to the message within 7 working days of contact. If a winner does not acknowledge the message within those 7 working days and confirm that they accept the prize, they will cease to be eligible for the prize and an alternate winner will be selected.
5. THE PRIZE:
5.1. Daily prizes include:
5.1.1. 2x one-year Basic membership plans, 1x owner membership and 1x sitter membership (the membership plans can be seen here: https://www.trustedhousesitters.com/accounts/signup/pricing/);
5.1.2. 1 x TrustedHousesitters merchandise bundle RRP £35
5.2. We will send the prize to any winner at our earliest convenience. We will endeavour to send a prize within 30 days of a winner being confirmed in accordance with sections 3 and 4.
5.3. Should the winner already be a member of our platform, the member’s existing account will automatically be updated to reflect the prize within 7 days of acceptance of the prize.
5.4. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for a cash alternative. The prize is non-assignable and relates only to a membership of TrustedHousesitters and cannot be transferred to another organisation. Should we cease trading, the membership will no longer be available.
6. THE STORE DISCOUNT
6.1. Forum users will be given a discount code valid for use on TrustedHousesitters online store, redeemable for 25% off full priced items.
6.1.1 Discount code will be valid from the 7th April 2021 - 17th April 2021 23.59 UTC.
6.2. By using the TrustedHousesitters store discount code, you will need to agree to the TrustedHousesitters (“we” or “us”) standard terms and conditions (“Standard Terms”) which can be accessed at https://www.trustedhousesitters.com/terms-and-conditions/
6.3. To redeem the discount code you must at the time of purchase apply the Promotional Code at the online checkout.
6.4. The discount code cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion and/or voucher.
6.5. We reserve the right to change or not to apply the discount under the discount code for any reason at any time including where we have reason to believe that you are abusing or tampering with the operation of the promotion or are in breach of these conditions.
6.6. Any personal data provided by you in connection with using a Promotion Code will only be used as set out in our privacy policy, which can be accessed by following the link: https://store.trustedhousesitters.com/policies/privacy-policy
7. PERSONAL DATA:
7.1. We care a lot about the security of your personal data. All personal data submitted in connection with this promotion will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and will be used to administer and manage this promotion and the prizes (where applicable).

8. MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS:
8.1. The prize is conditional upon the winners agreeing to take part in reasonable publicity by the Promoter, including by agreeing to allow the Promoter to use the winner’s name, city and photograph in the Promoter's marketing materials.
9. OUR RIGHTS:
9.1. The Promoter reserves the right at any time, in its absolute discretion, to:
9.1.1. verify the eligibility of any participant (including their age and place of residence);
9.1.2. disqualify any participant found to be:
9.1.2.1. abusing and/or tampering with the operation of the promotion;
9.1.2.2. entering using fraudulent means;
9.1.2.3. do not give correct contact details;
9.1.2.4. posting an entry or a comment to the Promoter's social media or online platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram and TrustPilot) that is, in the Promoter's opinion, inappropriate, offensive or can be deemed upsetting to other participants, fans of the Promoter or directly aimed at the Promoter, and/or infringing any applicable law;
9.1.2.5. who the Promoter believes to have acted in breach of these terms and conditions;
9.1.3. remove any participant comment that is in violation of 8.1.2.5.;
9.1.4. cancel, modify or suspend the promotion at any time.
10. LIMITED LIABILITY:
10.1. This promotion is not in any way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any third parties or social media platforms. Participants acknowledge that any other online platforms used to promote this competition shall not have any liability to them in connection with this promotion.
10.2. We do not accept liability for any damages, losses and/or expenses incurred by any participant in connection with this promotion unless we are in provable breach of these terms and conditions.
10.3. We accept no responsibility for any costs associated with any participant’s participation in the promotion or for any items that are not expressly included with their TrustedHousesitters membership (including, without limitation, travel to and from a house sit).
10.4. We are responsible for any loss or damage caused by us that is foreseeable as a result of us breaching these Terms and Conditions or failing to use reasonable skill and care, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it was an obvious consequence of our breach or if it was contemplated by you and us at the time these Terms and Conditions were entered into.
11. LAW AND WHERE TO BRING PROCEEDING:
11.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the Services in the English Courts.
11.2. If you live in Scotland you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the Services in either the Scottish courts or the English courts.
11.3. If you live in Northern Ireland you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the Services in either the Northern Irish courts or the English courts.
