have no hesitation in recommending Roger as a reliable and trustworthy person. I have known him since becoming a councillor in 2007 whilst he was the Mayor's Officer with Hereford City Council, a post he held for a total of over 30 years. His duties included him being responsible for the priceless solid gold Mayor's chain and badge, together with the civic museum containing solid silver artwork and other artefacts including ancient Royal Charters and treasures going back hundreds of years. He always handled everything with the utmost care. During my tenure as Mayor in 2012-13, we worked very closely together and I always found him to be extremely obliging, personable, trustworthy, punctual and always going that extra mile to make sure that everything was 'perfect', especially when meeting royalty. I would certainly be happy to use his services as a house-sitter if it ever became necessary and I commend him to you. Brian
