A message from Mathew Prior, CEO of TrustedHousesitters

Hi all,

I wanted to get in touch and share some good news about what’s been going on here at TrustedHousesitters.

Firstly, I want to begin by saying thank you. While 2021 may not have started quite how some of us had hoped, this year we’ve been so happy to see a steady return to travel and the lifestyle our members know and love so well. And this year, as always, you have blown us away with your incredible, continued support.

And, it’s on the back of this rebound that I am happy to share the news you may have already seen in the business pages — we have just secured additional investment for our platform.

So, what does this mean for our community? Well, it means that we have an incredible opportunity on our hands to continue our growth. More growth means more opportunities — more owners to list their homes and pets. More sitters to apply for them. And, of course, more pets who will be able to stay happy at home whenever their owners are away.

And, it’s all because of you — our members. Many of you have been there with us from the start, and some of you have joined us only recently. But you’ve all been at the heart of our success: through the support you give, the friends you’ve referred, and of course, the glowing reviews you continue to leave us.

(In fact, you might not know this, but one of our favourite things to do at TrustedHQ is to read and share your messages with the wider team. Nothing puts a bigger smile on our face on a Monday morning!)

This funding also gives us an incredible opportunity to further invest in our product and our team. Because of all your feedback over the past year, we have some great starting points on where we can continue to improve and better your experience, from enhanced safety features to product upgrades.

We couldn’t have done it without you, which is why we’re going to take this investment and continue doing what we do best: creating a great community, enabling unique travel experiences and keeping pets happy at home. And — in true TrustedHousesitters style — we’ll be doing it with pets and our members’ interests right at the very core.
