The importance of leaving feedback: a guide for Sitters

There are lots of ingredients in achieving sitter success, from writing a stellar sitter profile to communicating well with your owner. Pet owners are understandably very protective of their furry family members, and while sitters and owners are already bonded by their shared love of pets, a big part of what brings our community together is a mutual sense of trust, honesty and openness — and leaving feedback is just one of the ways to help facilitate this.

So, why is leaving feedback so important?

It helps to build trust and safety within the community

As a platform that’s built on trust, leaving feedback is naturally an important part of this. Your feedback will help to build trust within the community, as well as help other members to connect and arrange sits safely and successfully.

You’ll be helping other sitters just like you

As well as thanking your owner, by leaving feedback you’ll be helping other sitters to decide if this sit is right for them. Plus, with our tamper-proof policy, you can rest assured that any feedback you see from a fellow sitter is 100% genuine and reliable.

Plus, it’ll increase your chances of securing another great sit

You can request a review from your owner which will sit proudly on your profile for other members to see. Having more reviews on your page (alongside writing a great application message) is a great way to increase your chances of securing another great sit.
